Chongming Bicycle Park Made in China
以自行車為主的主題公園將是未來的「樂活」新世界。比利時建築事務所JDS為中國崇明設計了這項包括了自行車博物館、旅客中心和綜合服務大廳的自行車主題公園，強調運動、科技、社會覺醒、消遣娛樂和自行車發展之間的關係。位於現代建築林立的上海旁，就如同一個讓人嚮往的城市綠洲。這是一個只有自行車的樂園，遊客可以盡情享受馳騁的樂趣，也可在博物館瞭解自行車的歷史。以雙螺旋形狀為特色的博物館是園區主體建築，外圍有自行車道，讓遊客可以一邊騎自行車，一邊享受周圍美麗壯觀的自然美景；而遊客中心一系列從地上冒出來的圓柱狀建築，錯落的傾斜屋頂也成為公園內最搶眼的地標。綜合服務大廳則是以不同高度的梯田狀形式座落在相鄰島嶼上，外圍以波浪狀的線條勾勒出建築曲線，透過梯田狀的設計創造出可供旅客行走或騎乘的特色步道，當你爬上這座如同海上的小島嶼，即可將主題公園的美麗全景盡納眼底。這項複合式公園的設計以三座別具意義的建築，重新喚醒現代健康、樂活的新省思。
The bicycle themed park is designed by Belgium architect firm JDS, which includes a bicycle museum, visitor's center and a multipurpose building. It is like an urban oasis amid the urban jungle of Shanghai. Visitors can enjoy the fun of roaming freely or understand the history of bicycle development in the museum. The museum is a double helix structure surrounded by bicycle trails, while the visitor's center comprise of a collection of tilted and rimmed disks to create the roof structure, in turn creating an eye-catching park landmark. The multipurpose hall is placed upon an adjacent island, the exterior of the building is surfaced with a network of intertwining undulating paths and terraces set at diverse elevations, offering panoramic views of the landscape and grounds.
