The Future of Live Talks 未來現場
When one thinks of a “live talk”, images of stages, bright lights, and famous speakers often spring to mind. However, given the rapid advance of Internet technologies, we no longer need to be physically present at a conference center to partake in the discussion. Anyone connected to the Internet through a computer or mobile device has just as much of a right to ask a question as someone sitting in the audience.

In the future of live talks, everyone will be a performer and audience member at the same time. People will be able to speak their minds while also listening to the opinions of others. ideas Magazine’s “2011 ideas Talk” gave consumers and industry experts a platform to exchange ideas in which, thanks to an absence of physical constraints, everyone was able to participate and exert influence. This was true both in terms of listening to the ideas of other people as well as rallying support for one’s own views.
在未來現場,每個人都是表演者,也同時具有觀眾的身分。大家都能發聲,也都能聽取別人的聲音。《創新發現誌(ideas)》為所有消費族群和產業專家所打造的2011 ideas Talk實驗舞台上,每個人都是參與者,不再受到實體的限制,而能充分進行意見交流。不但能聽到來自各方的意見,同時不論是台上或台下,每個人也都能發揮自己的影響力,爭取其他人傾聽和支持自己的想法。
In contrast to traditional market surveys and focus group interviews, the “2011 ideas Talk” consisted of more than four months of preparations and activities which brought together the voices of social media and industry experts as well as consumers. In addition to combining physical and virtual “scenes”, “2011 ideas Talk” introduced the topic of mobile device operating systems into Shih Hsin University’s national high school debate championship and the intercollegiate debate championship for university students in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The debates served as a platform for consumers to share their thoughts on the future of mobile devices.
